Skulls and skeletons from By Max

At By Max, you will find a special and constantly changing collection of skulls and skeletons. From impressive skulls of mammals and birds to unusual sea creatures and lifelike replicas. Each specimen is unique and photographed individually, so you can see in advance exactly which piece you are buying.

Our collection is suitable for enthusiasts and collectors, but also for distinctive interiors, hospitality venues, offices and other spaces where a unique object is truly allowed to attract attention.

A special collection of skulls and skeletons

Skulls and skeletons show the natural anatomy of an animal in a special way. The shape, structure and details of the bone make each specimen unique. It is precisely these natural characteristics that give a skull or skeleton a distinctive and impressive appearance.

At By Max, you will find both smaller specimens and large, eye-catching pieces. From individual skulls and antlers to complete skeletons and other unusual prepared specimens. Our range is constantly changing, so new specimens are regularly added to the collection.

For every product on our website, you will receive the actual specimen shown in the product photos. So you are not buying a standard product where the photo is merely an example. Precisely because each piece is unique, we believe it is important that you can clearly see in advance what you are buying.

Discover our collection by species

Our collection consists of skulls, skeletons, antlers and other unusual prepared specimens from various animal species. Use the filters at the top of the page to search specifically by species and origin, or discover our collections by category.

Each specimen has its own character

A skull or skeleton is not a standard product. The natural shape, size, structure and condition of the bone differ from one specimen to another. Features such as antlers, horns, teeth and other anatomical details also make each piece unique.

When you buy a skull or skeleton online from By Max, you will receive the specimen you see in the photos. This means you know in advance exactly what you are buying and you will not encounter any surprises.

Would you like to view a specimen in real life first? Of course, that is also possible. You are very welcome in our showroom in Helmond. Especially with larger or unusual pieces, we understand that you would like to see the specimen up close first.

Natural anatomy as an eye-catcher

A skull or skeleton can form a special element in an interior. Precisely because the natural shape and anatomy remain visible, such an object often has a powerful and timeless appearance.

Skulls and skeletons are not only bought by collectors and enthusiasts. They can also be used as striking decorative objects in homes, offices, hospitality venues and other distinctive interiors.

Thanks to our changing range, you will regularly find new and unusual specimens. What is available today may already be sold tomorrow and make way for a new piece.

Legality and documentation

When trading in skulls and skeletons, provenance and any necessary documentation are important. Specific rules apply to certain animal species, and CITES legislation, for example, may be applicable.

By Max pays attention to the legality and provenance of the specimens we offer. Where specific documentation is required for a specimen, this information will be stated with the product or supplied with the specimen.

Do you have any questions about the documentation or provenance of a specific specimen? Please feel free to contact us before making a purchase.

Care of a skull or skeleton

With proper care, a skull or skeleton can remain beautiful for years. We recommend carefully removing dust from the specimen regularly and protecting it as much as possible from moisture, major temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight.
