The Meleagris ocellata, better known as the Ocellated Turkey, is a beautiful bird found mainly in Central America. This bird is known for its colourful plumage and striking eyespots on its tail feathers.
A fun fact about the Ocellated Turkey is that the male, just like the peacock, tries to impress the female by displaying and showing off his feathers. This behaviour is often associated with impressing potential mates.
The Ocellated Turkey is a popular subject for taxidermy, in which the animal is mounted and displayed as a decorative item. Taxidermy is an art form in which animals are prepared and preserved to retain their natural beauty.
Every mounted animal that By Max delivers is delivered with the necessary legal documents. This can be a CITES document, declaration of origin or just the invoice (this depends on the species). These documents guarantee the origin and legality of the preparation.
