The Latin name for butterflies is Lepidoptera spp. Butterflies belong to the insect order Lepidoptera and are known for their beautiful wings and colourful patterns. A fun fact about butterflies is that they can move their wings using muscles connected to their thorax.
Taxidermy is the preservation of animals for display purposes, while mounting involves the process of preparing animals. Mounting butterflies in a dome is a popular way to preserve and admire these delicate creatures.
Every mounted animal that By Max delivers is delivered with the necessary legal documents. This can be a CITES document, declaration of origin or just the invoice (this depends on the species). These documents guarantee the origin and legality of the preparation.
